Ashanti Region will be coming Economic hotspot

The National Entrepreneurship And Innovation Program (NEIP) is an initiative of the government of Ghana under the Business Development Ministry. One of the outstanding CEOs appointed by His Excellency, Nana Akufo Addo  president of Ghana is Lawyer John Kumah,  a native of Ejisu in the Ashanti Region of the Republic of Ghana. John Kumah holds the position of CEO of NEIP.

It is worth mentioning some achievements of mr. Kumah in the light of the future realization of a poultry processing plant at the project site Asienimpong Ejisu Kumasi on a 20 acres of land. This land will be the location for a future industrial enclave. At the same time as the future realization of the processing plant, including slaughtering house, preparations are underway for modern breeding and production of broilers at het same industrial enclave.  Humain, SAMDEB Co Ltd and NEIP are pushing their efforts into good preparation for modern breeding and production of broilers for achieving success.

NEIP inspired by John Kumah created job opportunities for entrepreneurs who are disabled through the creation of tailored made business modules, financing and creation of markets to complete their business cycle to ensure that all the output from these disabled entrepreneurs are fully consumed. In the field of business development many business start-ups were supported through business advisoroy services, creation of markets and business financing.

John Kumah has over the years engaged Action Construction and Engineering Co. Ltd (ACE) based in India to establish a Tractor Assembling plant and fabrication of agricultuur implements at industrial enclave in the Ashanti Region. The cost of this establishment is $ 25 million dollars, to be funded by the Indian EXIM Bank. Establishment of a tractor backhoe loader assembly and plant+fabrication of agricultutral implements will soon be realized. What makes the whole project interesting is how mr. Kumah was able to negotiate for 100% funding from the Indian EXIM Bank and working very hard to achieve that. A lot of projects were discussed about, including  establishment of small and medium scala projects for selected districts in the country.

SAMDEB Co. Ltd,  a local consultancy firm and partner of Humain for modernization of breeding and production of broilers,  was hired to undertake feasibility studies on existing small and medium scale enterprises throughout the country to identified entrepreneurs in viable business who have the capacity to grow. Two of such enterprises where selected from each region comprising of sewing and tailoring, block manufacturing, poultry farming, fish farming, wood briquettes manufacturing and food processing.
